Bryon M. Large to Speak at the TRANSforming Gender Symposium

Kolko & Associates, P.C., is pleased to announce that Senior Associate Attorney Bryon M. Large will be discussing immigration issues related to the transgender community at the University of Colorado’s TRANSforming Gender Symposium, being held in Boulder, Colorado, on March 13th and 14th.

Bryon is the Vice-Chair of the LGBT Working Group, and advisory committee to the 13,000 member American Immigration Lawyers Association. He has an extensive background working on issues related to same-sex couples and sexual minorities in immigration proceedings. He is also the President-Elect of the Colorado GLBT Bar Association and was recently recognized as that association’s Outstanding GLBT Lawyer for 2014.

Bryon is honored to be presenting at the TRANSforming Gender Symposium and will be discussing immigration options for the transgender community, including traditional family-based options, as well as extraordinary options available for vulnerable populations such as asylum, VAWA protection, and protections for crime victims.
