Angela Cifor

Angela Cifor is a Partner and owner at Kolko & Casey, P.C. where she specializes in United States immigration law. Angela’s practice is primarily focused on family-based immigration, removal defense, humanitarian benefits, and related litigation.

Angela has exclusively practiced immigration law since 2013 and has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2014. She has actively volunteered with her local chapter, AILA Colorado, by serving on the ICE, Asylum, Legislative Advocacy, and Wellness Committees.

Angela is a mentor on the Pro Bono Mentoring Panel at the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN), where she supports private attorneys who provide pro bono representation to asylum-seekers and unaccompanied children. She serves as a board member of La Cocina, a nonprofit organization that elevates Latine-centered knowledge to heal and transform the communities of those most impacted by inequity and trauma. She also serves as the AILA Colorado Board Representative for the Colorado Lawyers Committee.

Angela grew up in Manchester, Vermont. She graduated from Lehigh University and obtained her law degree from the University of Colorado Law School.

Since 2013, Angela’s work has resulted in hundreds of successful cases before the U.S. Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. State Department, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

In her time away from the office, Angela likes to hike, bike, and ski in the mountains with her husband and dog.
