Each year in June, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) hosts an annual conference, giving its members an opportunity to catch up on the latest in immigration law. This year’s conference will be later this month, and will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference is an important opportunity for our attorneys to attend lectures and hear from nationally-recognized experts on the latest trends in the law, as well as creative and innovative approaches to resolving our clients’ cases. Our attorneys also have conference responsibilities, as well, as our firm is heavily involved in national AILA activities.
Managing Partner David Kolko will be presenting on a panel at the AILA Annual Conference, teaching a fundamentals seminar on non-immigrant employment based visas. He is also receiving a Presidential Award for exemplary service to AILA and the AILA President over the past year.
Senior Associate Attorney Bryon M. Large will also be presenting at the Conference, speaking about cases in removal (deportation) proceedings. Bryon also serves as the Chair of AILA’s LGBT Working Group and Gay and Lesbian Interests Section, and also serves on AILA’s Board of Governors as an elected director, both of which will hold meetings at the Annual Conference.
